Jason Ashford, MD

Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon

Jason S. Ashford, MD, FACS, received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas, Austin and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program, and completed additional training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Ashford is board certified in surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

Jason Scott Ashford, MD, is a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats a broad array of hand and upper extremity problems, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Born in Georgia and raised and educated in Texas, Dr. Ashford graduated with honors from the University of Texas, Austin with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing medical school he remained in Dallas to complete his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program. He then continued further subspecialty surgical training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Ashford’s practice mission is to relieve pain, restore function and help his patients return to work and play.

Jason Bailey, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgeon

Jason R. Bailey, MD is a proud 6th generation Texan. He is a native Houstonian, having attended St. Thomas High School following which he graduated with Honors from the University of Texas Austin with a degree in Italian. He attended medical school at University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. His surgical training was completed at the University of California San Diego Medical Center and included General Surgery, then a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency and Fellowship.

Abdulla Fakhro, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Fakhro received his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, graduating with honors and making the Dean’s List in 2005.  He then came to the United States to continue his education at the Unversity of Pennsylvania Health System and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. He then moved to the prestigious Texas Medical Center to complete his plastic surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. At the Texas Medical Center, he was privileged to train at Texas Children’s Hospital, CHI-St. Luke’s Baylor Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Ben Taub Hospital, the Micheal DeBakey VA Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. He is a member of numerous medical associations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and the Royal College of Surgeons.

JESSICA ROSE, MD

Plastic and Breast Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Jessica Rose is a native of upstate New York.  She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Skidmore College, allowing her to carry on her academic and equestrian interests simultaneously.  Dr. Rose enrolled at the University of New England for her osteopathic medical training after developing an interest in surgery.  She went on to complete her general surgery residency at the University of Arizona and was known and respected for her technical ability and bedside manner.  After realizing her interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery, she made her way to Houston, completing her plastic surgery training at Houston Methodist.  Dr. Rose was awarded the prestigious Cronin Award for best senior resident paper and her residency class won the Truman G. Blocker Bowl for highest scoring residency program.  While at Methodist, she discovered her love of microsurgery and she completed her final year of training as a reconstructive microsurgery fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Rose is thrilled to be back in Houston and begin her career at UT Health.  She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and  the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  She enjoys all aspects of plastic surgery, but has particular interests in microsurgery, breast reconstruction, and extremity reconstruction.

Richard Siy, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgeon

Dr. Siy is a proud Texan, born and raised in the city of Beaumont. He attended the The University of Texas at Austin with a full scholarship, graduating with a degree in business with honors. He then went on to attend medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine. Following medical school, he began his integrated plastic surgery residency at Baylor’s competitive program. This renowned program provided Dr. Siy with 6 years of dedicated training at the world’s largest medical center. Such broad exposure allowed for experience within all aspects of plastic surgery, including maxillofacial trauma, microsurgical limb salvage, hand surgery, body contouring, breast surgery, and the full spectrum of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Siy’s training instilled in him a dedication to patient care and communication. Through his residency program, Dr. Siy trained with some of the most respected leaders in plastic surgery. Dr. Siy’s residency also provided him the opportunity to meet his future wife. He is excited to continue his passion of practicing medicine and caring for patients, by joining Dr. Jason Bailey in practice.
