Neil McMullin, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgeon

Neil McMullin, MD received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and attended Medical School at the University of Texas McGovern School of Medicine in Houston.  Upon completion of medical school, Dr McMullin completed his General Surgery Residency at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas.  Dr McMullin would spend the next year as a trauma surgeon in Afghanistan.  In 2010, Dr McMullin began his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Harvard School of Medicine in Boston and upon completion in 2013 would spend the next 11 years in the US Army, at various duty stations and hold several positions of responsibility.  Dr McMullin served as the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brook Army Medical Center, was the Deputy Commander (CMO) of the US Army Hospital at the United States Military Academy and was the Chief of all plastic surgery within the US Army for the final four years of military service.  Dr McMullin retired from the US Army in 2024 when he joined Jason R. Bailey Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, bringing his vast experience in trauma reconstruction, microsurgery, hand surgery and peripheral nerve surgery.  Dr McMullin is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.  Dr McMullin has been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) for over a decade and serves on various committees and lends expertise to other surgeons.  

Dr McMullin is passionate about restoring form and function, and improving patient’s quality of life through reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. 

Jason Ashford, MD, F.A.C.S.

Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon

Jason S. Ashford, MD, FACS, received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas, Austin and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program, and completed additional training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Ashford is board certified in surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

Jason Scott Ashford, MD, is a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats a broad array of hand and upper extremity problems, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Born in Georgia and raised and educated in Texas, Dr. Ashford graduated with honors from the University of Texas, Austin with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing medical school he remained in Dallas to complete his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program. He then continued further subspecialty surgical training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Ashford’s practice mission is to relieve pain, restore function and help his patients return to work and play.

Jason Bailey, MD

Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgeon

Jason R. Bailey, MD is a proud 6th generation Texan. He is a native Houstonian, having attended St. Thomas High School following which he graduated with Honors from the University of Texas Austin with a degree in Italian. He attended medical school at University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. His surgical training was completed at the University of California San Diego Medical Center and included General Surgery, then a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency and Fellowship.
